Product Description
Iron phosphate FePO4 is also known as ferric orthophosphate and ferric phosphate (ferrous iron phosphate is ferrous phosphate), with a specific gravity of 2.74. FePO4 that exists in nature is also called blue iron. The iron in FePO4 is trivalent iron, most of which is dihydrate. Except for sulfuric acid, it is hardly soluble in other acids, almost insoluble in water, acetic acid, and alcohol. It is a white, off-white monoclinic crystal powder. It is a salt of iron salt solution and sodium phosphate. The iron in it is positive trivalent. It has the characteristics of non-toxic, low cost and stable structure.
Application
Used as a nutritional supplement (iron fortifier) in the food industry, especially for bread. Also used as feed additives.
