2356 Tetramethylpyrazine is a white crystal, alias ligustrazine. Ligustrazine is a bioactive component, a widely used traditional Chinese medicine. It can inhibit platelet aggregation, enhance vascular dilatation, increase cerebral blood flow, and has a neuroprotective effect. Ligustrazine injection has been widely used in the treatment of ischemic stroke, coronary heart disease, diabetic nephropathy and knee osteoarthritis in China.
